Well. It can be done. I have done it and on track. But don't recommend. Because it's 3 to 4 treads max.

Yes it is. Just check your lugs from time to time and make sure they stay tight.

too little thread engagement, can it work, probably yes, would I want to run it like that , no. I tried them but the low thread engagement amount scared me. 3mm spacer s about the limit IMO.

jvf1 and I were at autocross several years ago and a guy lost a wheel mid sweeper sending 45 lbs careening towards us. He had spacers on that prevented good thread engagement on the lugs. Maybe run longer studs for safety sake.

as for now its just for daily driving ill eventually get extended lugs for the track but im waiting to replace my hubs at the same time
