Its single exit but not too loud.
Some of us think single exit exhaust looks lame on the S2000 could be one reason.

Any idea what the noise level is in dBA? Just curious. Video on their website sounds decent but internet recordings can't be duplicated with PC speakers).

Greetings,

I’ve had mine for a little over a year. The Medallion worked perfect on my AP2 at warm up it almost like stock cruising around @3k-4k rpm just a little throaty than stock, past 5k then it’s a nice growl @ Vtec to WOT makes you feel like your engine balls…
never obnoxious.

I'm new to S2ki and have had my 08' for a few months, it came with a greddy revolution rs on it (Stock headers and cat). There website says it's 96-97 dB. It's loud but not aggressively loud. Chuck said it right though single exits look a little off(with stock bumber) , I'm looking for a dual exit potentially the Greddy supreme sp. If anyone has any input on greddy and if they're a good exhaust or not, I'd love to hear.

I have the greddy sp with a berk high flow cat and it sounds great but the drone is killing me slowly. I doubt a test pipe would help. I'll be switching to the hks ssm soon.

You need a quieter exhaust for less drone.
Volume = drone on this car.

I think the SSM is quiet? If its not, its going to drone. Just like every single other exhaust that wrongly advertised "drone free at cruise but screams in VTEC". If it screams...I can pretty much guarantee it drones.

Not picking on your response. Just trying to summarize this thread.

I have had only one other exhaust and it did drone too but with the greddy it has more boom to it that really bothers my ears from like 2.8 to 3.8. Every other rpm is great and doesn't bother my ears even at redline. Haha I end up driving the car harder to avoid this issue.

Yeah, 2.5-4K is the drone range. Tragically, that's also the most used cruising RPM.

If I forget my earplugs, I try to just use 1 gear lower when driving with an exhaust.

I recommend just buying a pack of earplugs and putting them in the center console.

I had the Greddy SP installed for week and my ears were bleeding. Switched to an HKS SSM and no regrets! Sounds great on WOT and zero drone.
