Question Looking for a spoon style hard top

Hi all, I recently purchased an S2000, and I'm interested in getting a hardtop for it. I have fell in love with the spoon style hardtop, but there's so many versions out there I don't know what to look at!

My s2k is oem black, and I understand that if I order anything new I'll have to paint it. Perhaps someone is selling a black one? Any recommend car part painting places in the bay area?

I'm looking for a style like this with no side windows.

Thank you for all your help!

Does this one require modification to the car?

Not exactly modding the car, but it is a lot of work to make it fit. Also, the trunk becomes unusable, and the hardtop is going to squeak and rattle, don't quote me, but Ballade said even the authentic kits aren't quiet.

Might be worth looking at the Mugen top too, it's aggressive and not a pain to install and remove.

Trunk becomes unusable. Noted.

I'm actually looking at the mugen right now. I just feel I don't like the look of the rear of the car without a spoiler.. and as much as I love spoilers on the S2000, I feel that putting one on will lower the value of the car. My hopes is not doing any modification to the original body.

What are your thoughts on that?

I think I'm sold on the mugen. Where can I find an authentic one? Would forbidden usa be a good place to buy from?

The trunk doesn't really become unusable just hard to use since you have to remove the back piece and then open the trunk. This top looks extremely awkward on an otherwise OEM S2000. The car in the picture is heavily modded and it looks better on it because of the other body mods, lowered, wheels etc.

Forbidden makes reps. If you want real mugen then you need to order from Gotuning or another vendor that carries authentic mugen parts.

Thanks for the info! I think I'll go with a mugen FRP.
