Lug nuts
Hey guys,
I've been hearing different opinions from some people, but I need a definite answer. Can you put aftermarket lug nuts on OEM AP2 wheels? I've been wanting to get some red anodized ones. Thanks all! |
You can but you really shouldn't. Typically, OEM lug nuts should be used with OEM wheels; aftermarket lug nuts should used with aftermarket wheels.
|
No you can't, unless the lug nut has the proper mating interface

Just buy some red ball seat lug nuts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-HONDA-BAL...76af09&vxp=mtr I don't know anything about the quality of the lug nuts in this link, but thats the kind of thing you need. :tipwink:

I have some red lug nuts on my ap2 and i have the oem stock wheels too. Had no problem putting them on. Just had to be careful so I wouldn't scratch them putting them on. :p

I'm interested in those as well.. As long as they're seated properly and the anodizing won't fade I'd grab them
|
Ive had the black ones on my ap1 for about two weeks now and there good
