The Tanabe Medallion was low drone on my catless AP2 with a supercharger. Not fantastic however but miles beyond my HKS dual setup once I took the cat off. That droned HORRIBLY. Passable with the OEM cat in place but also not good.

Currently have the HKS SSM. Zero drone. None. Sounds fantastic. Might be too quiet without a supercharger.

Fujitsibo powergetter with test pipe or high flow cat is pretty quiet with no drone and sounds decent above 5k.

Tanabe Touring Medallion or if you can find one, Super Sprint.

Following a uk mod exhaust definitely sounded more raw than a legalis R to me. You want something you can hear in the cabin as well? I guess the uk mod doesn't do that?

lol, as I had gotten older, I hate aftermarket exhaust and along with all my friends now who own R32 GTR's and other high performance vehicles. The best setup for our s is keeping the stock OEM CAT on with whatever cat-back you want. Keeps the drone away and noise relatively down while having some decent exhaust note to go along with it.

Goodluck!

Oh and my setup, is an non-resonated version of the Supersprint exhaust with OEM CAT, sounds pretty damn good.

The uk mod sounds very different based on size of bypass pipe used. Saying uk mod sound did not produce the desired effect without stating size of bypass, and what cat in place, is less than complete info.

Also useful woukd be what about uk mod missed the mark. Too loud, not loud enough. Too raspy. Drone. Etc.

Suggests about which aftermarket system would address the deficiencies of the uk mod in question would be much more targeted with the above info.

I have the Mugen AP1 header, EVS 63mm high flow cat and Mugen AP1 exhaust on my car and wouldn't change it for anything else.

I'm about to have EXACTLY this same setup. Do you have any video?

Nope. I should also mention that I have a OEM hardtop(never removed), soft top delete and dynamat below/behind the seats(trunk isn't covered).
