Megan OE-RS Clips? Opinions?
 

My insurance is allowing me to pick out an aftermarket exhaust to replace the stock one damage in my wreck. It has to be less then the stock, which is $580ish. There are only two that I can think of: Tsudo and Megan. I'm considering the Megan OE-RS but have not heard any clips. Anyone have a video? Opinions? Thanks.

I personally like the tsudo. Its cheaper and is probably the exact same thing as the invidia. Keep the left over cash

i had an older megan drift spec exhaust... the welds on it were horrible... the metal is paper thin on the canister and the hanger broke it (that is... the hanger pressed into the paper thin canister metal and cracked it... took it to get welded and it couldn't be welded as the metal was way too thin... would have burned right through).


IMHO, stay clear of megan exhaust... if it wasn't on the car when i bought it... i wouldn't have gotten it in the first place.

i have their header on my car right now... and the runner noise is so bad that it sounds like my tct is going... but my tct is jjjuuuussstttt fine.

You can get an Invidia Q300 for $600ish if your insurance company will allow that. Or you can just chip in the extra $20 on top of the 580 they will pay.

How loud is the Tsudo? The quality looks good and YouTube videos sound great. I really just don't want a ricer sound.

I'll check into the Q300 and chipping in the extra money. What's the best place to order either the Tsudo or Q300?

the drone is pretty bad at 3k-4k rpm range for megan oe-rs. i bought it and sold it within 2 weeks because i almost went deaf. i know the tolerance to droning varies from person to person but just my opinion. on the other hand, the tanabe medalion touring is amazing.

berk 3inch single is 600 as well.
