Default Milltek Cat-Back Dual Exhaust

Product: Milltek Cat-Back Dual Exhaust

Specs: 2.75" dia @91dB

Construction:

Milltek uses 304 Aircraft grade stainless steel for their exhausts and use a grade that is non-magnetic so that it is more resistant to discoloration. They use this quality of stainless steel for all the mufflers and piping work. TIG welding is done on the inside of the flange to mate to the pipe while MIG welds are used on the outside to increase durability. All bends are mandrel to ensure a smoother exhaust flow. All systems are designed, tested, and manufactured in-house. Piping diameter is 2.75inches(69.85mm) for the S2000 systems.

Test time: 8+ months (DD everyday)

I consider this exhaust system to be one of the best exhaust systems out for the S2000 market if not the best. Of course this is subjective to one's needs. However, if you are like me then this exhaust will exceed all of your expectations.
  • No Drone
  • Not overly loud with a nice deep growl
  • 10/10 fitment
  • Oval tips to match OEM look

Honestly, I could not ask for more. The S2000 in the video is my car and was used for the test fit.

I wanted to give special thanks to S2Krazy89 for setting everything up and pushing Milltek to develop for the S2000 and Gary from Mann-Engineering for providing the utmost professional service during the test fitting. If any of you guys are Subaru owners, FYI Gary is a Subaru Master.

would like to see pics of the actual cat back, i wonder if you can opt for different tips for ap1 owners? I think it would look odd to have ap2 style oval tips on the ap1 rear bumper. Other than that, it sounds great!

No dyno numbers yet and I do not know that weight difference. I just remember the OEM exhaust weighing like a ton of bricks.

Tips are removable and I believe they have a specific system for the AP1. Check out the Milltek GT100 tips. Even though I have an AP2 those would be some good replacements.

According to the website it saves 6.2kg so it should weigh ~40lbs.

Well trying to find any info on this exhaust through their supposed dealer network is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. A pic of exhaust system and construction would be nice. A price would also be good
