Need help locating a part for sale
So I am looking to buy 2 new plastic pieces that go directly behind the headrests of each seat. The silver paint has started to rub off and looks bad.
Could I possibly strip the paint and make it look good or would that make it look worse? Or would it be better to buy new plastic pieces? I am having trouble locating them because I'm unsure what to search for online. I managed to find an image of the piece I am talking about. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...3cb461b0d7.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...a33416614e.jpg |
This is the part number for my ‘01 but it appears to be discontinued. 81147-S2A-003ZA / Cover, Headrest *NH167L* (Graphite Black). |
I just popped them off, gave them a light sand and resprayed them. Came out beautifully.

I believe these can still be sourced from Japan using Amayama or possibly Jesse Streeter.

you should really learn to use a parts catalog.

16 dollars! Buy a few sets for the future too while you're at it!

If you do decide to paint them, be sure to use a paint made for plastic. Otherwise it won't stick well and will tend to flake off/peel.

Paint and sandpaper alone will be around $16 and never look as good as OEM |
