I believe i'm running the old version with the low profile nut on top, which I assume is what's changed. I don't ever plan on tracking with Hoosiers but do plan on moving from extreme summers to r comps. Hope I don't have slipping issues. I suppose thread locker would do nothing if its a matter of nut surface area/available trq, vs the nut actually coming lose. What do you guys thing is causing the slippage? Do you think thread locker would be worth wile?

I doubt the ones that slipped were properly installed.

Mine haven't slipped for years, after lots of track-off's and running 71R's. I've even spun into a curbing lip and bent a spindle...no sign of slip.

Yep.

And they're not adjusters anyway...so you really should set them once and forget they exist.

If one were afraid of slip, just weld them in place when you're happy with the setting.

Yeah that would be true in most cases.

See the light colored silver looking pin stripe around the barrel? That's a new groove.
