oem muffler polish diy* pics *
i love the fit and finish of the oem exhaust (too bad it weighs so much) so i've kept it and did the resonator delete and i'm catless. i just wanted the bling of an aftermarket exhaust so i used:
1. Aircraft remover (buy at walmart) 2. Then, scotchbrite pads on the face of the mufflers and fine steel wool for the canisters and alot of elbow grease ....and the end result is paintless oem exhaust w/ polished look :D http://uploader.ws/upload/200806/0001altered_copy.jpg http://uploader.ws/upload/200806/0002altered_copy.jpg and on the car.... http://uploader.ws/upload/200806/trail2mod_1.jpg :dance2: |

What material is the mufflers made of? Would there be any corrosion issues?
