All I can say is that they are definitely worth 3K to me. If I add up all the money I spend on tires, brakes, registration fees, fuel, mileage, depretiation, and wear & tear each year for autocrossing and tracking, then it makes all kinds of sense to have great shocks. I'm actually starting to think maybe these shocks could even save me money over time by extending the life of my tires and brakes. The reason why I think it might, is because I have so much more control over the car now, so I'm not breaking the tires loose around each corner or engaging ABS all the time.

My only complaint on these is that the rates aren't a little higher. I know they are right around 10k front/8k rear but I'd prefer something closer to 12/10 which they should be more than capable of handling. Next time I need to replace shocks these might be on my list. Now you did say the rears are as low as they'll go? What does your right height look like?
I may eventually get stiffer springs, but I'm really glad I didn't start out with them stiffer. If I had started with stiffer springs, I wouldn't have known how much of the performance change was due to the springs and how much was due to the shocks. I might have felt less sure that the Ohlins were actually worth the cost compared to simply putting stiffer springs on my Konis...

The rears could go lower if I was willing to reduce compression damper travel. I estimate that I have about 2/3" compression travel before the rear bump stops will come into play, which is about 1" at the tire. I would guess that my ride height is a little more than 1" below stock right now. You could go a little lower with the 8K rear springs, but you'll engage the bump stops more often. However, if you did move the 10K springs to the rear, it would be less of a problem.

can you post pics of your ride height, what are your wheels and tire set ups?
I am really interested in getting these. Just worried about springs rates with my 17x9 255 ^2 and my gendron bar rubbing (the kw v3's rub on it)

I'll take pictures of my ride height after I finish correcting the front ride height. I discovered an error in my measurements yesterday, and corrected for it, but that only got the height half way back to the target.
I haven't noticed any rubbing from the Saner bar, but I have it set to the middle setting.
My street wheels are:
Work Meister S1 3pc
18x8 +56 225/40/18 front
18x10 +68 285/30/18 rear
Race wheels are:
TR Motorsports
17x9 +62 255/40/17 front and rear
