When adjusting the height I noticed the spring doesn't spin like it does on YouTube for other brands. Is that right? I see the perches turning along with the shock body since the perch is locked but the spring stays in a fixed position. Is that what others experienced?
That will depend on the amount of pre-load you have... if you pre-load it enough you'll never be able to spin it, there's just too much force. Also if you're running the upper rubber sheet you'll also be unable to spin it. We use (and sell) Swift thrust washers which will help allow it to spin, however with enough pre-load you'll have to adjust height off the car. This is where doing proper height calculations comes in very handy... we can get within 1mm ride height through our calculations of pre-load, required height, spring rate, etc. (to do this willy nilly through trial and error would be the most absolutely tedious and laborious process ever).
