Did you read the thread? The clear window can be loose and vibrate. There are suggested fixes.

Update: I purchased this intake. Install was super easy. Fits really well. It sounds awesome too, you can hear it working. My only problem is where the small rubber tube hooks onto the manifold, it doesn't fit right and is kind of dented... Will fix it later hopefully. When my car was bone stock, it read at 191whp/137tq on a Dynojet - I was able to do another run, but not one with JUST the intake. I also installed a Skunk2 Megapower Catback. I made 200whp/146tq. Sorry for the Bunta sticker on the intake, I just HAD to put it somewhere.

Anyone else care to share their experience with this intake? I am still kind of on the fence.

450$ foran intake? Stay with oem lol. Or a cheaper system like aem. Intakes will not add that much hp on our cars. And did I mention heat soak on track? Looks like U essentially need a snorkel.

I would stay oem imo.

6" velocity stack no matter what intake you go with is a key element in getting the most out of it. Stock is pretty good as a base for a relatively stock engine, but it can be improved and needs to be when you add a larger TB with port match. This AFE intake has borrowed some good working concepts, but as a whole 100% drop in unit it isn't perfected from what I can see. The positive parts are the full filter enclosure to keep heat soak at bay with a larger opening at the face to draw in more cold air from a snorkel that is not there, so thats one thing that needs to be addressed to get the full benefit. A larger diameter tube after the filter tapering down to the TB to capture more air wile building up velocity is another proven principle, however unless they are making oval velocity stacks which they aren't that im aware of (and if they did I question performance over a round tube) then its again another squandered opportunity. I have essentially made this exact intake out of a stock one wile incorporating the things I mentioned lacking. Wile going through a bit of trial and error on building my intake, i found that unless I had a min size air filter as large as the factory, I would actually pull a vacuum. I ended up going with a oversized filter to insure the engine was not pulling any restriction from the added flow of the velocity stack and new HPS intake tube. Custom snorkel directed from grill up through rad plate into increased opening to filter was done of course.
