Default Password JDM Snorkel Fitment

Hey all,

Does anyone have experience with the password JDM snorkel that works with the OEM intake? If so how is the fitment and is hood cutting required? Is the quality comparable to spoon and J's racing? Thanks in advance!

I have an 07 S2K and bought a carbon fiber cooling plate on E Bay that inserts into the stock air box. No hood cutting was required, but Dremel surgery was needed on the plate. I haven't had any issues. I will place a remote temp sensor that can be read on my phone just to be able to track the temps (I have Mac laptop, so can't use Flash Pro...Flash Pro tune has been done). A Ballade 80mm throttle body and intake tube are in place, with some of the baffles in the air box removed. I want to do occasional HPDE and live in south Louisiana. To keep intake temps down, I am considering placing ice gel packs into the air box prior to a track run. They would be wrapped in towels to keep condensate ("sweating") from entering the throttle body. Does anyone have any thoughts about that?

You could run Bootcamp on your mac, or Parallels, VMware, or VirtualBox (which is free btw). Cheap PC laptops are always an option as well.
