The Gernby FlashPro tune gets my strong recommendation.

The Speed Academy boys over in Toronto just posted a dyno test of their "small engine" (AP1) ASS2000 with ITBs, cold air intake, tune, and 3" header back (no-cat) single exhaust. There may be aftermarket headers as well. Not sure if it's running on E85 or 93 octane. Peaked just under 220 whp. They formerly ran the Tanabe Medalion Touring as they drove the car on the street. No noise readings. The 220 whp is disappointing to me as my car put out 221 whp with just the K&N FIPK, Berk 63mm high flow cat, and the Medalion Touring exhaust -- and the Gernby FlashPro tune. I've not yet compared the power curves but a quickie glance indicates theirs may have more power under the curve. And my plot is a single session a year ago -- a sample of one (1).

The Gernby tune will transform your car!

I spoke with Gernby the other day

Since the site was taken over by new owners, he was banned over some membership BS, which would explain his inactivity on the forum

You can still direct email him, he did tell me he was a few days behind on emails as he is busy with other projects, and has stepped away from car stuff at the moment, but plans to get back to it in the near future

Hes worth the wait, guy knows what hes doing!

i emailed gernby directly asking for advice on mods for an AP1 without a tune and he told me basically just get a test pipe and a good intake. i have done just that, except i opted for an evs hfc instead of test pipe. and getting the intake (password jdm ram air) installed this weekend.

Panda.
any updates, data, or impressions on the EVS HFC?
What size did you end getting?

what made you pick EVS over BERK?

thx
