Quick question, how will this impact my S2? Everything else is stock, and while I realize that it seems a tune really helps, that is not something I am tackling at the moment.

The information I have been reading has been very helpful, but I am curious as to what members have experienced.

Best,

Mike

It will be louder than stock. I have the SE single exhaust and the butt dyno didn't really notice a difference in power / torque. Not sure how much more the HFC can provide. From what I've read, the HFC should help with the drone at the very least.

Won't hurt it but it won't make too much power. It will sound and look good too.

I thought based on the other member that posted the several setups and different dyno pulls that even without a tune a 63.5mm stock to 70mm HFC to 70mm Greddy would produce gains? Maybe not. Hopefully then the money at least pays for a good sound/look!

in general, replacing the stock cat with a HFC or test pipe is where you get most of the power gains when doing exhaust mods, but don't expect anything crazy. As others have said, HFC and catback on this car are mostly for looks and sound--especially dual systems. You might gain like 5hp or maybe 10 at most with a HFC. That's a ballpark guess though! haha

I've got the Greddy Dual Spectrum Elite exhaust and Berk HFC as well. The drone without the HFC bugged the hell out of me between 3k-5k or so. There was considerably less drone after I put the Berk HFC, exhaust sounds great too.

I have this on my07 S2K and it is loud when you first start the car. Once the car is warmed it idles pretty quite but loud when you're driving it. If you drive far then it might be obnoxious as that's what I find with mine it sounds awesome when your redlining it tho. No butt hp gain when I put it on.

You'll notice better throttle response and maybe a little more pickup in mid range.

I noticed my brain rattling inside my head after putting on my SE dual and Berk Hfc. Looks and sounds amazing outside the car...but driving under 4k the drone is just unbelieveably bonkers.
