Default Replacement Armrest - AP2: Anyone Try This?

Hi all,

I'm just wrapping up Clazzio covers on my Laguna Blue 2006 S2000. Ordered all black with blue stitching. Was looking at replacing my armrest cover since it's slightly worn, and looks even worse now against the new Clazzios. Anyone use this or anything from JF?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FITS-HONDA-...2fac%7Ciid%3A1

If anyone can provide advice on replacing the cover - this is just the material and requires gluing it over the existing plastic (removing old vinyl first).

Thanks!

I used someone that does auto upholstery and they made me something that looks similar. They also put some foam padding underneath to make an actual "rest" vs. a piece of hard plastic.

From what I can tell they just used staples to secure it underneath, didn't seem too difficult.

I have a redline goods armrest that I had a local interior shop put on. You can see pics here

They have different options for padding and tons of choices for color stitching etc. I have their center console cover as well but haven't put it in yet.

I always like using an upholstery shop over covers.

The 70's called, they want their custom interior back...

I do like it, but it does seem to be the wrong car for that look.

nah that’s the main thing everyone talks about when I take it places, the headliner is done too, favorite aspect of my car, I thought the OEM interior was hard and boring.

Considering honda put an interior like that in one of the special editions we didn't get in the US I would have to disagree. That interior looks great.

Also thanks! I really like how it came out and it is so much more comfortable than the OEM one.

It would be cool to do the door panels stitching in the same pattern. Complete the theme...
