Replacement for my leaking factory exhaust
My new to me 2004 S2K has a slight leak in the cat-back exhaust, and I've been researching the threads on aftermarket options.
If I go aftermarket I do not want this to be substantially louder. But as long as I'm replacing it a little more would be cool. This car is bone stock right now.
From what I have researched the Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust gets a lot of good reviews. Any other recommendations? I do not know if the Fujitsubo Legalis-R is still available...

Both a buddy and I fitted the Tanabe Medalion Turing exhaust to our cars three years ago and remain pleased with the decision. It is louder than stock. 95dBA behind a Berk 63.5mm high flow cat. OE cat will be quieter. Several 500 mile trips in the car without noise strain. Sound has been termed "gentlemanly performance." (We both tried the Invidia Q300 but they were so annoying and gave us headaches they lasted only a couple of weeks).
The Medalion Turing has round exhaust tips but looks fine in the rear bumper.
Installation is easily done in your driveway or garage. The Mighty Car Mods video on their Q300 installation is linked below; it's the same for the Medalion Touring. Toughest part is getting the OE exhaust off the car. Start soaking the bolts with PBblaster penetrating oil now. My buddy had to cut off several bolts as they were so rusted in place. If you think that's possible get new bolts from Honda parts.

Get a good condition used exhaust and clean her up: $100
Find a good TIG welder and MOD it: $200
Cheap, easy, OEM fit and Finish. Video was before putting tips on.
And if you want burned tips, Free! Mine are not burned this was a extra set.

If you want something similar to stock, then you should consider Fujitsubo Legalis R for an aftermarket exhaust. In the cabin it sounds just like stock, no drone, and quiet. Outside the car, still quiet maybe a tiny tad louder than stock, but not much.
But personally what I would recommend would be to get another OEM exhaust or fix your current exhaust and do a 38mm or 44mm UK mod. It is a lot cheaper, $1100 (Fujitsubo) vs $300ish (OEM + welding maybe $200ish if you fix your current exhaust). IMO it makes no sense to spend so much money on an aftermarket exhaust for it to sound similar to stock and same piping (60mm split into 50mm piping) The Fujitsubo does look better than stock I guess, but that's about it. Imo the UK mod is a great option, it sounds stock in the cabin, but outside, the car should have sounded like this from factory. It gives the OEM exhaust a nice note, a little growl, just a tad more volume, and imo sounds better than the Fujitsubo and Tanabe.
This video made me want to do the UK mod at the time:

Yes! If you want to make your UK MOD even easier this part really takes the guesswork out of it .
Split the U right down the center and tack it up.
