Replacing soft top w/ another. Defroster Q?
 

I am putting on another soft top because my other one got vandalized. How do you remove the middle portion of the rear defroster? I pulled the two side pieces off of the little metal pieces, but the middle part I can't seem to get off. There has got to be a fairly simple way.

Can someone please tell me? I am going to go ahead with the rest now but before I can take the old top off I need to take the defroster off.

Please assist!!
