roll fenders or "shave" fenders
watup guys...i'm looking to either roll or shave the inside of my fenders with a dremel...which would you guys recommend? i mean, what would be a "cleaner" job, which would be more beneficial? pros and cons?..i'm leaning more towards shaving them...i would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this...thx in advance!

I shaved mines, it looks much cleaner, rolling you can get a ripple effect. Since you're rolling them your not gonna get that piece back so might as well cut it off.

I would cut half of that inner lip and then roll the rest so its perfectly flat and smooth. cutting them, even if you sandpaper it is going to leave a edge that could bite into the tire if you DO rub after a hard bump or a big dip.
You should also take into account that that inner lip gives your fender its strength so cutting it off will make it very easy to dent/bend on the edges of the wheel well.

My fenders are shaved... all four of them. They dont have a lip inside at all. After they were cut I used a dremmel tool to smooth em out and get them flush to the fender wall. As far a rigidness, I have not had a single issue with them being weak or anything. In addition I have heard that the metal will rust but that's not true because our fenders are aluminum.
Well... I say shave em... but a roll isnt bad either just make sure you heat gun the paint so it does not crack.
Everyone I have shown the shave to has been impressed with the work.
Oh... and while you are down there... relocate your rear bumper tab.
