Default S2000 third brake light

Hi, fellow S2000 owners. My 2003 roadster has her third brake light out. Where is the cheapest and/or best place to purchase a replacement, either on the web, or in the greater Seattle area? My local Honda dealer wants to charge me $400 (or is it $600?), with only about $60 for the labor. I'm sure I can buy it for less and install it myself.

Thanks for your help, my friendly S2000 owners!

I had this problem. Billman checked the exposed section that passes through the trunk & found a broken wire. cheap fix

The OEM system uses LEDs which rarely burn out, especially all at once! It's usually a wiring problem. A local guy to me just went through this.

Trace the power to the connector when you depress the brakes, or swap lights with a local for a test. It's quick to unbolt once you open the trunk.

it can also be a fuse, double check that as well.

The brakelight takes something close to 45seconds to remove. 6" extension, 10mm deep socket, and a ratchet and boom...something like 4-5 nuts that hold it in place.
