Default Sierra Auto Tops & Seats (aftermarket soft top)?

Hello,

I didn't know where to put this topic at, moderators if this is in the wrong spot please feel free to relocate this thread.

When I bought my s2000 it came with a tear in the soft top but the seller threw in a free soft top as part of the deal. I see the name on the box is "Sierra Auto Tops & Seats" I found it being sold on amazon but has anyone on the forums here have actual experience with this soft top or know of any review history? I tried searching the forums and googling but nothing came up.

Thanks

I've done a fair amount of research, as I just replaced the top on my AP1. I went with a Robbins, but from my research, the Robbins, EZ-up, and Sierra are all good tops. There's another company called GAHH that may be a cut above them, but their prices are as well, and they don't like to sell to individuals. There's a DIY for top replacement on here if you're game to try it. The OEM top is vinyl. Replacement tops come in both vinyl and cloth, depending on your preference.

You're in business then! Just need to get adventurous and install it yourself, or break out the wallet and pay a professional. ;-)

How is the Sierra tops holding up? I am literally a click away from making this purchase. Its coming down between Sierra and Robbins. Also Any difference in window size?

I've installed a few tops. IMO the quality chain goes like this OEM>Robbins>Sierra
I've seen a few issues with sierra's QC as the stitching can be tight around the window causing the overlapping edges to stand up when the top is up...if that makes any sense. It's not a bad top by any means though. Just minor stuff here and there.

Where is the best place to order an OEM top ? And what would be the part list to order with it ? Is it come in a kit like the robbins? With the elastic strap, rivet etc..

FWIW

One of the members in the Midwest (RAIN H8R) has installed OEM, Robbins, EZup and Sierra. I will use him to replace my custom top when the time comes. He has expressed a preference to Sierra over all others that he's installed based upon quality and fitment.

Perhaps it's worth having a chat with him about his extensive experience.
