^^^ This is the answer, you don't want to have to replace an engine over an unclean part. You should point this out to the manufacturer too. Hope all goes well.

What are you smoking? Brake cleaner is science's gift to man. Besides some super sticky stuff, it will literally clean ANYTHING.

hell no, i called SOS and they told me they have had nothing but head aches, not originally intended for f series motor, blocks coolant holes , melts etc

It does block the coolant valve used to bleed the coolant but easy enough to get the air out without it. Not aware of any other coolant pathway being blocked though (the main water neck is fully functional). As for melting.. not had any issues. Weird that they say it wasn't intended for F-series.. it is a thermal gasket that has appropriate passages.. bizarre overthink me thinks.

Others have reported issues with the gasket, where it causes vacuum leaks. Users have reported having to constantly retorque the IM bolts to keep such leaks at bay. Perhaps that is what is meant by the not meant for F series motors...

If the IM bolts keep getting lose I fail to see how that is a thermal gasket problem. More like lack of locktite or equivalent.
