The stock mounts are mushy junk,

hard rubber mugen mounts and the solid j's mounts run about $500

solid diff mounts were one of the best things i ever did for my 240. Makes the car feel much more connected

Stock motor mounts (dunno about the tranny) don't have those 4 bolt holes. Either those are stock mounts, or you did something else. What else did you do besides the steel welding?

they are the diff mounts, not engine/tranny mounts

i have 85a innovative mounts for the engine/tranny.

It will be a while before i get the car back together. mahle isnt done w/my pistons yet.

there's not alot of open space on the big rear diff mounts, so window weld wouldnt be too effective there.

Let me know how it turns out. I've been contemplating this for a while.

It seems like this will increase your chances of damaging the diff, since the OEM mounts probably releave a lot of shock from the ring and pinion.
