Spoon & AP2 v2 +15mm Spacers
#21
IMHO the V2 is the least hot looking OEM rim for our cars but in your case it looks quite a lot better than usual thanks to the fitment! Looks like you have a slight drop too which helps a bunch. Do I have to run spacers with extended studs if I choose 15mm?

Ap2 v1 has more caliper clearance (supposedly) than v2; you should be fine. You will have to roll fenders, and possibly tab relocate the rear- depending on tire sizing.

Yeah everyone has their tastes, I personally like the V3’s The most, then the V2’s. I don’t like any other OEM wheel. If you are going to run a 15 you need to run a DRM spacer, the best thing about a 15 is it doesn’t require any role or tab relocation at all. I would like to run aftermarket wheels but I hate how crappy the fender and fender liner issues with aftermarket wheels make the car look. I see guys with $4000 wheels but chipped fenders and missing liners, then the car just looks like a cheap car with expensive wheels.

OK glad to hear this. I think 15mm is the widest I'd go to save my fenders from modding. As for tire sizing I'm currently on Toyo Proxes T1 Sport - 225/45/17 and 245/40/17. Next change I'll widen the read to 255.

Thanks for the advice. I'll stick to 15mm max. DRM spacer?
