Default Suspension limit of $1k

as it says - its time to buy new suspension. I don't want to spend more than 1k.

I was looking at a coilover setup by buddy club. N+ spec - any exp with these?

I want something with the ability to get a 2in drop, and in the future ill probably do a little bit of auto-tracking. I want a nice look and I want the car to handle well.

Figured this would be a good of time as any to make a first post.

A suspension is a great way to improve the overall handling characteristics of your S. But there are a few other things to keep in mind.

Drive ability, where you live, the budget you have in mind, and the goal you have set for your car.

It seems as though you have your budget worked out, which is definitely a start. With that in mind I would say to take a look at the Megan Racing coilovers, either the street or track version.

Both the street and track versions are under $900. I can attest to the quality of the parts as I had these coils on my hatch before I got my function/form coils. They are both 32-way dampening adjustable, and to be honest, I think the spring rates were swapped from 10K front/12K rear on the track versions to a 12K front/10K rear street version, but someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

D2 is another company worth a look, by far some of my favorite coils I

See, that's the problem....everyone "heard" something..... but no one with actual track experience.

Even the "Official Coilover Thread" is useless : /

I bought a used set of Tein RA's on ebay for $650. They are pretty stiff, but they free up a lot of unsprung weight and completely eliminate any body roll.

I have the Megan's and have 20K miles on them and they still ride good. They are a little more stiff than stock but I have had a lot of fun on them. I would highly recommend.

I don't own an S2k yet, but am looking into buying one. What I can tell you is the folks on G35driver have had good success with the BC coilovers. From what I understand BC is the company that manufacturers alot of other companies coilovers, including Megan Racing.
