Default Test pipe inspection

i havent really gotten started on my exhaust. but it has a test pipe not sure what kind. and o yeah also a header. but will the test pipe pass the obd2 inspection scan. im in ny. i am well aware of the visual inspection im not concerned about that. will the test pipe throw any codes? from what i saw it has one 02 sensor.

basically anyone who has a test pipe does your car throw codes and pass inspection?

I'm in California and if I we're to try to smog it with a testpipe it would not pass emissions. Visual or sniff test.

I'm running berk test pipe and it doesn't throw CEL because of the built in O2 sensor.

It will not pass emisions, you will either have to put the old cat back on or go to some shady shop and give them some presents

You will pass in NY i have not had a problem, as long as there is no check engine light you are not throwing codes. I have had my car inspected twice in NY since owning it and and the test pipe has been on there both times with no problems.

If the testpipe has a working o2 fouler (built in or not), and thus doesn't through a CEL, then you will pass the OBD2 scan, and therefore, pass inspection.
