the emanage ultimate and tune would be a much better investment than either of those.

Honestly, by reading your mods list. I think that you should stick with the OEM ECU for now. :thumbup:

not looking to spend that much yet, this is all gonna be temporary, until i figure out which i'll be getting (hondata or emanage ultimate),

why would you buy temporary parts? :confused:

You'll get better gains with a VAFC II and a tune than you will by just adding a throttle body, especially in the midrange.

I think the VAFC is only worth getting for AP1's. Buy a single exhaust, that'll make some power and save you some weight. Check out the Megan Drift-Spec its pretty cheap.

TB is more for bragging rights than power IMHO. VAFC is great for monitoring things, but I dont care too much for them for tuning. If it were me i would say hold off and get something else header, exhaust, snorkal.

If I had to choose I would get the TB over the VAFC though (even though it would be cheaper to take the OEM off and have it bored out)

The bigger TB is not going to give you anything unless you go FI.

it's not going to give you much neither unless your intake mainfold is the same size as the throttle body bore.
