Tracy Sports widebody wheel fitment
Hi there, can anyone tell me wot offset do i need fer the front n rear fer 17" wheels running 225/45/17 front(17x7.5) and 255/40/17 rear(17x9) tyres with the Tracy Sports widebody GT kit?
If according to the s2000 wheel fitment guide on this forum, with stock fenders, the minimum offset needed fer 225 tyres up front is +53 and the TS widebody fender is 40mm wider up front, would that mean I would need a +13 offset fer 225 up front? And would that be the same case fer calculations on the rear too?
Need help!
Actually I'm considering running 235/45or40/17 front and 265/40or35/17 rear but finding semislicks in 265/40/17 seems to bring forward limited choice....any advice on this?? I'm after a setup fer track purpose, so I want to maximise the wider track advantage of the wider fenders, so im wondering which tyre size combination should i go with, as i'm not sure if a 235 n 265 combination would be overkill and wont work well together...
Cheers, J.

FYI: you can run as low as a +11 on the rear. The fronts depend on the brakes. I would run a +15(or about rear), and a +25-30(front).
You can also run a 10-11 inch width wheel easily depending on offset.

Well I've heard that the s2k becomes very oversteery with same sized tyres all around, I'm not too sure if that would be the best. I am considering staggered and non-staggered and really don't have a confirmed decision yet, but yeah if I go with staggered, 235/265 or if 265 is not available easily, then 245/275. If non staggered it prolly will be 255 all around. Any advice anyone?
However I'm not too sure on having such wide tyres on the front as the steering might be very different compared to the initial setup. I'm sticking with 17s.
