Default Unknown fuel injectors to identify, sitting for 2 years

Hi everybody,

I have the opportunity to get a set of 1000cc fuel injectors but the owner can't tell me the brand and model because he already got them used and was not told the brand...

Does anybody know which brand and model they are by seeing these pictures?

The thing is also that they are used and have been sitting out of an engine for about 2 years now.
Am I making a mistake and going to issues getting those on my supercharged setup?
(I can eventually get them cleaned by professional)

To finish, I would also need the connection p&p harness for these. What is the name of these connectors?

Thanks very much

Yes it looks like a Bosch style injectors but it could be some generic Chinese crap as well.
2 years is a long time and it looks like some corrosion on top of one? Factor in cleaning and flow test in the price and if it's still very cheap it might be worth a gamble to try them.
There are no more marks or engraving beside that small part barely seen in the last picture?
The connector is called USCAR, here is some cheap adapters that work very well https://www.finjector.com/eng/connec...ss-p-532888-39

I can get those for 130€. Professional cleaning including new seals is near 100€ for the set. The harness adapter are about 25€ ( thanks for the link, perfectly what I was looking for!!)
So the global cost of those would be around 255€, ready to install.
If they are ID1000 I think it is a correct operation, but if it is Chinese crap it's not a good deal...

I will ask for more pictures of the inscriptions on them...

I need to find the brand also to get there dead times from the manufacturer.

Ask the seller to remove the lower spacer/seal, you can spot some etchings there in the second picture.
If they are ID which I doubt they will have their logo and serial numbers there.
Even if you get them professional cleaned there is no guarantee that all of them will be good again, if they have been improperly stored it might not be possible to save them..

Why does one have a green, probably viton rubber o ring? My guess is it leaked, and that ones o ring was replaced. That means they are used long enough that a leak developed. Not a good sign.

Many have had limited success with injector cleaning. Often it just doesn't work. If the crude has been caking on for years, its much harder to clean. Fuel turns to varnish if left for a long time.

Add to that you don't even know if these are quality to begin with. There is alot of risk here.

You are right, I forget about this "deal", there is too much risk of problems. I stick with my RC 750cc and keep looking for a good deal on correct 1000cc injectors for upgrading to e85. Thanks!
