Default XBA LED running lights and Turn signals

Hey s2ki! So here is my first contribution to the forum. I work as a mechanic but my side job is doing HID Retrofitting for other vehicles out of my garage and I'm starting my own business from it. It's fun work and I finally had some time to rig up a cool set for my S2K. I got the Brand new xba led strips and got to work! Here's how it turned out. Sorry for the bad pics I only have my iphone to take pics for now until I can find a SD card for the camera.

Here's what I used.

3" white strips for the running lights and 3" amber strips for the turn signals. Turned out pretty good I thought.

Took me a while to figure out how I wanted the strips situated on the reflectors but I finally decided that the side by side staggered was the best.

Not wanting any glue visible I use tiny steel wire to fasten the strips to the reflectors. I do this for all my other retros too and it is definitely the best method.

Pull the wires through and here's how it looks all completed!

It looks weird when the car is off and the lights aren't on but that all changes when they fire up.

I didn't take any pictures of the blinkers but here's a short video of how they look. drove around town tonight for about 30 mins and got a ton of honks and thumbs.

I'll get some better pictures tomorrow

In my opinion, this would look a lot better behind a smoked diffuser. That way with the lights off you wouldn't see it and when they light up it'll light through the diffuser.

me no like. i give a+ for creativity though! its just look like you slap on the led on their. like the previous comment, it might look better behind the diffuser but DEFINITELY not in front of it.

I like it. I would probably try and put the light bars more symetrical/uniform, but its good. Nice job!

In person the staggered style actually looks really good. The turn signals being on the outside separates the output nicely.

I agree with them. It will look really good if you hide them behind the diffuser.

Very creative nonetheless...

I think this would look great behind a Mulderized clear diffuser.
