If you call another dealer with that number they won't know what you're talking about. At least that is my experience.

No reason to do it... piping is so narrow that it would choke the eingine, i suppose

I have seen it done the guy actually did it himself. He cut off where the exhaust splits into 2 and welded on a single pipe with muffler. From what I remeber it looked good but was a little too quiet for me.

yea its been doen but I seriously doubt it is worth the effort
IMO the idea FAILS

Honestly I'm in the same boat. I feel its not needed to pay $1000-1800 for an exhaust.

I'm going to be making a custom 70mm header back stainless exhaust, using Magnaflow resonator and HKS muffler. Total cost is approx $600 for a 70mm header back!!!

greddy Tic with TP 70 mm prob about 800 or so and sounds amazing thats what i run. I love it so far i have had 5 diferent exhaust and this is my favorite and its about 30 pounds with TP fairly light.
