Just did an install of an AEM V2 last night. Took about 2-2.5 hours from start to completely finished with the car ready to drive, including my trip to get a bigger filter b/c the one I originally bought had a 3" inlet. I don't feel too much of a change in the car, but I do feel the absence of the "dip" I had before Vtec. Overall it feels smoother and maybe *a little* more powerful up to Vtec and throughout Vtec. Its not as loud as a stock open box, but its pretty vocal in Vtec. I also got a rainshield with my purchase. (It was used). I'm debating on opening up the faux vent by the filter to get a direct flow of air to the filter.
I think the average gain is somewhere around 7-10hp, which would be next to difficult to really feel, just remember every car is different. Glad to see you got it installed already

Yeah... the only way to tell if you gained power is to take it to a dyno...
