I will recheck, but I am about 99.9% sure I plugged those back in because I made sure that they were the right plug ins. I am definitely on a different sent of injectors (pico 480) because I spliced these to get the clips on.

Is the heat from the exhaust side pretty isolated to that area? I bought a Mugen header, with no mounts for a heat shield, so I wrapped it. It is the DEI titanium stuff and not the traditional header wrap. I am really hesitant on installing it because of potential cracks, but I don't want there to be heatsoak issues on the ITBs. I have already put DEI tape on the exhaust side of the valve cover, and the stock chassis heat shield. I also have an engine mounted front heat shield in route that i plan on putting the tape on. Lastly, I have some sheets of the DEI reflective material coming in that I plan on placing on the underside of the hood exhaust side. I am hoping this all radiates the heat downward to the exhaust tunnel side. I am also trying to figure out if there is some way I can rig the OEM heatshield to the header, or make one with some of the aluminum sheets I have sitting around.

So, I am trying to sync timing. I am experiencing the most concerning issue yet. There is a backfire or some type of misfire on cylinder 4 causing the flap to open and being able to see it (the explosion) and an occasional spark explosion if I try to throttle. Super loud tapping near cylinder 4 also. I am guessing timing and valve adjustment??? Link to video

Check your valve lash, it's hard to tell from video but it does sound a bit excessive.
The backfire thing might just be a tuning issue, I did see it on mine as well. Sounds like yours are begging for more fuel when you blip
Here is a small clip on mine, it's pretty much untuned here and around 11s you can spot the fireball down the first runner.

Oh thank God! I was really worried. The videos I had seen had me worried it was the worse.

Looks good, as long as the crank is in the correct position

Yeah, it is. It's valve lash. I put the settings at OEM and didn't realize that BC stage 2 are about .002 different.
