His dyno doesn't read flywheel, it reads hubs.

Incorrect. He uses a dynapack, which reads at the hubs. The numbers read high since there is no weight for wheels taken into consideration. Drivetrain losses are taken into consideration though.

YEAR: 00
TYPE: Dynojet (Brand new/freshly adjusted)
MODS: Gutted stock intake w/K&N, Berk TP.
POWER: 204 whp 139 wtq

The exact same S2000 as mine same mods same year, got 207 whp and 140wtq I believe. On the same dyno and same day.

240Wtq? Are you sure you don't mean 140?

why? I always heard about Church's Magic Dyno, and although I know the use of the dyno chart is better for the delta before/after tuning and mods.. why is it calibrated so that the numbers being churned out are so high? bragging rights? or is there another reason for it being calibrated that way?

I got my 04 dynoed today. I 'll get this scanned in tomorrow at work but here it goes:
Mustang dyno, k&n FIPK, Berk HPC Header, Berk Test Pipe.
I did not do a baseline dyno before the mods, as my goal was to check the AFR, and I did not feel like spending the money for a before and after.
with these mods, vs. stock I picked up top end gains, but I definitely feel mid range gains, but obviously since I don't have a base, I can't tell how much....again, did this to check AFR.

Peak 215 CWHP, 156 CWTQ
Peak whp at 8000 rpms and peak wtq at 6500 rpms.

What do you think of these AFR's:
3000- 6000 RPMS - 12.6 AFR
6200 RPMS - 13.3
6600 RPMS - 14.1 (PEAK AFR)
6900 RPMS - 13.7
7200 RPMS - 13.3
7400 RPMS - 13
8000 RPMS 12.8

Thanks guys. I feel as though the peak at 6600 is a bit lean, but I think I can get away with it????? Really, other then that, aren't most tuners trying to tune the s2000 to between 13.0-13.5? I'm shooting to get a greddy emu down the line, but was hoping to pull good enough AFR's to be able to wait a while. Thanks for the advice,
