i wanted to see what you guys are getting with your tuned ems or vtec controllers...
i currently need to get my aem retuned because i was getting horrible gas mileage, my last tank was 212 miles....

I average 26mpg on the OEM ECU. Their is no reason you guys should be getting that low of mileage.

I also averaged 26mpg with my H22 Prelude. Then with bolt on's, Hondata S300 and some street tuning by me, I was achieving 29mpg(mixed driving). The key is to run lean with more timing, at the low load points. I was running 16:1 A/F while cruising. With modern injectors being as good as they are, you can go even leaner; I was using the not so modern DSM 450's.

My best on a stock ecu was 31.5 on a long trip to Ft. Lauderdale. My best on the AEM is 28mpg. This was on my current trip north to the dragon.
