Default {video} before and after 4.77 FD install

hey guys i don't post much in here i just read a lot ... anyways i have a bunch of local guys that asked me how much different the 4.77 fd is compared to stock ... so i did a little video of my car racing a supercharged civic si the day before the install and then right after ... sorry if the video is not supposed to be posted here but i figure it would help a lot of people out in wondering how much of a difference the 4.77s really make ... both cars are exactly the same in both races except for the final drive swap ... and done in the same spot in mexico

From a slow roll like that, 4.77s DEFINITELY help as the video showed. However if freeway pulls is your thing, you may want to stick to stock gearing. Starting from anything over 60mph really isn't ideal with these gears.

Awesome video and great side by side comparison. I love seeing fair tests like this done!

He is 100% right ... But I never want to run from a 60 roll ... My thought is that if you can't set your car up correctly to have traction from 20 or 40 then it's not safe doing 160 ... And besides ... 60 rolls should be reserved for those 1000hp vetts in Texas
