would be better if you guys started in 2nd and the civic wasnt spinning tires at the start.

we were thinking about doing that but no one i know will run it ... they all back out

I think the best gearing for an ap1 period is a 4.3 final drive. 4.56's in an ap2.

The 4.77's look like they give you what you need up until 100 mph where it looks like they suck balls.

If I had to guess, 8000'ish rpms is where you'd be at when the civic is topping out 4th.

I mean this isn't surprising, 4.77's with the ap1 secondary reduction gear is a 5.35 final drive.

This is something you'd put in a 4wd jeep to have lots of torque in each gear with the big nasty tires.

right on ... anything over 110 the car cant keep up ... but i dont particularly like going over that speed anyway

but this is put in ap1 with ap1 tranny or ap1 with ap2 tranny etc
