Some useful info there. I guess I'm going to have to take a field day trip to Evans Tuning for some schooling lol. Its just a lot of money for an EMS.
I've noticed that this fuel tank is tiny. I filled my car yesterday morning and I'm already at 2/3rds full. I don't drive a lot daily. Just commute to and from work + the gym. Mostly highway miles too. Then again I did mash it a couple times.

Yeah I filled up at the Sunoco in Ft. Lee and I ALWAYS put 93 oct in my car.
I just did a search for Greddy E Manage Ultimate but on their site they only work for AP1's and I have an AP2.

There is a few minor mods you need to do to the pnp harness in prep though and if your considering this unit for your car, I highly suggest you track down a tuner in your area that is confident with the E manage, not too many are so ultimately that is going to dictate what you should decide to run with. I tune my own, so I don’t have to rely on the more limited support for these units.

If lowering VTEC is the most I could do there, then I might as well just hold off until I can afford a SC. How much does lowering VTEC harm daily driving mpg?
This is why I had it professionally tuned by an experienced VAFC tuner. It actually improved gas mileage with the other mods and smoothed out the vtec "kick." It did several other things than just lower vtec but that was one of the more notable advantages. Lowering the vtec also widened the powerband and it also, helped with any drone that I still had...I could have bought an wideband and messed with it myself, but am not as savvy with tuning as a pro! As far as the emanage it is very hard to find a good tuner that has experience with greddy without having to travel cross country.

Here's a noob question. I'm looking at evans-tuning's website. They have a SOS supercharger kit at $4500. I'm wondering how this install actually works. If they send the kit to me and I install this myself, how does the tuning work? Do I NEED to have k-pro already? Do I NEED to upgrade fueling? Can I simply buy the kit and bolt it onto my bone stock 05 S2K?

According to Science of speed's website, they include everything you need. You just install it yourself. This doesn't mean that someone else isn't selling an incomplete kit with all SOS parts though, so contact them directly.

Hey
Hi txting for the Alex I VaFC 2,VTech at 4600 to 8 or 8+?did u sell the unit?email me directly airnpereira@gmail.com
I have an N/A 2005 ap2 and had it tuned with an apex-i VAFC-II. This is a plug and play model that has a pnp harness in order to avoid any splicing! It is already professionally tuned for an 05 by one of the top Honda tuners here in Dallas! Im actually thinking about posting it up in the classifieds for sale if you are interested...I paid $275 for the unit plus the harness, and the tune was $250 plus the wait time! LMK if your interested! It has vtec set to 4600...Had it tuned at T1 by Tony. This was the easiest and most cost effective way of tuning NA without a full ecu (+$1000) and able to retain factory ecu...It also passed inspection without any issues!
