Will it make power below 8000 rpm?

Try it and find out, if it doesn't then cut them down incrementally until they provide the powerband your looking for. Looks like you need an Allen wrench, a tape measure, marking pen, cut off wheel and a dyno.

Looks like someone already went to the trouble to weld on extensions to the horns. What was the previous application?

had to trim 1.5" off to clear the brake MC and booster

also ordered some 1" hood risers in hopes of not having to cut the hood

Wow that looks pretty crazy but I like it
Hope you get it to fit with the hood closed, might need to cut some of the inside frame though.

hoping these hood spacers i bought will let it clear otherwise, time to chop it up!

From the pictures they look like they are 3" higher than the valve cover !!

Cut it and put in some kind of sleek looking scoop for the horns. Will be totally functional, just make sure your considering rain.
