Thanks guys for the advice. Yeah my s is pretty much stock except for my catback. I have thought about an ems but with the mod i have i ont expect too see much of a gain there. Thinking about just waiting a little bit and saving up some more to see what other routes i can take. CCW would be nice...

I have an 01 that's all stock but I do have a 3" single exhaust in my sideyard; straight pipe from the cat to the muffler. I've got four questions now cause I'm pretty much in the same boat as OP.

1) what size test pipe should I get for a 3" exhaust and how can I measure/verify my exhaust size? I'm just taking a wild guess at my exhaust size?

2) I have a small hole in my muffler, could that be causing the buzziness/rasp in my exhaust?

3) How much power am I looking at at the wheels with the mods listed above?

4) Will a test pipe change the sound of my exhaust?

A 70mm test pipe or even a 2.5" test pipe should be fine for you. Fix your muffler, holes aren't good lol as for as gains it depends on your tuner and tune. You will see good gains if your tuner knows what they're doing, I was making 193whp, now I'm at 224whp on vafc2. Sound will change with a test pipe, it really depends on your exhaust, good luck
