"Do it once and do it right" Is what I've been always told by my friends. I learned it the hard way. lol.

I suggest you just go with the Direct Port kit. 80shot will be fine for you. Then bump it up.

If your going to run a dry shot make sure your ecu can compensate for the fuel and you dont detonate. Me and my friend just got done building a h22 with itbs on a 50 shot dry it was supposed to be a 100 shot but HE put the wrong jets in and he is running e85 which makes it safer anyways and is having aem compensate for it. So Yes to your question if you have the supporting mods for a dry shot and want to be safe but if you throw it on there and blow your motor "I told you so".

I have a vafc and was going to get tuned within the month, just had it there and figured why not
Could I have the tuner tune for it n still be ok to drive around with a tune for nitrous,or even race the car with it n use it whn I needed.I know it won't run as good allmotor
What u think

If you have a stock '00-'01 with the '00-'01 ECU, then you could probably get away with a 25 or 35 dry shot in the upper RPMs only (7K+), since they run very rich with conservative timing. However, if you have an '02+ ECU or many "good" bolt-ons, then you will probably already be running too lean to add a dry shot. Using a VAFC for tuning would not help, since they are only usefull for leaning out the mixture and advancing timing, which is the opposite of what you need for nitrous.

There's no reason to SELL the dry kit. It just takes a few extra items to upgrade the dry kit to a wet kit.

You can richen the afr's with a vafc its not the greatest way to do it but if you have one laying around and a wideband then you could do it. Just richen the vafc all the way and spray the 50 shot and make damn sure there is someone else in the car or your monitoring the wideband very closely to make sure it dosn't lean out if it starts to lean out bad then you know you have to get some other type of fuel correction whatever your budget pertains to.

No, you can NOT add fuel with a VAFC, or the ECU will flip out and throw a code. If I remember correctly, the ECU will start to freak out at about +3% (power loss, hesitation, etc.).
