Adjustable cam gears on AP1 cams
Are there any benefits to running adjustable cam gears on AP1 cams? I have a 2.4 stroker and I really dont want to use aftermarket cams. They wear to easy and I dont want that for a track car that sees redline all the time.
I have AP2 in there now but plan to run AP1. Just curious to any possible gains. |
Church claims NA only about 5hp but that is on a 2.0L or 2.2L so not sure in your case, but boosted, there's much more midrange to be had I've read.

Apparently you cant edit your 1st post any more..lame lol
Thanks for the heads up. Id be happy with 5whp lol. 10whp would be ideal but at this point Im just trying to max out this 2.4 and keep it reliable as possible. Brian Crower cams had too much wear over time. They had to be pulled out. |
I cant edit any post lol :ponder: maybe because Im not a paid member right now ....
