Don't exactly understand what you're saying. CapoArgentino is right, there is no power gains just from installing an oil cooler. But an oil cooler does stop you from losing power. Once the oil temperature reaches over 130 celcius, you no doubt will start losing power or not make power, making the car sluggish and slow.

No additional pump required, the Trust Oil Cooler Kit is engineered for our cars to work efficiently without having un-necessary hardware, it has been proven to be the most all rounded kit on the market in 2010.

I heard it has been good for some years

The price is steep but it seems like the obvious choice in that price range unless you can afford an ASM kit for a few grand which is totally dumb unless your car runs strictly track.

I don't see any reason that this can be true, unless you are talking about losing power because the engine is seizing from poor lubrication, or that the high temperatures are causing the engine to detonate,

High temps in the combustion chamber is great for power as long as it doesn't cause detonation. Hot oil is thinner, so pumping losses will go down, and higher temps in the combustion chamber means there will be more heat pushing down on the pistons. If your oil or coolant is colder than it needs to be, then you are giving away power.

^^ Thats why over cooling is bad and kits w/o a thermostat should be avoided, at least in DD apps.

I think the bigger reason for for the thermostat is to reduce wear, since cold oil doesn't lubricate as well as warm oil.

It's all good
The thermostat for the oil cooler is meant to prevent overcooling. You don't want oil passing through it's radiator all the time, only when a certain temp is reached. Same exact concept as the coolant system. On a track only setup, you might be able to get away with a kit w/o thermostat since you wont allow the oil to cool down sufficiently during a session until you stop.
