Anyone with ITBs and raw knock logs
Does anybody have logs from their car with raw knock output preferably from an Infinity but anything will do. I've got an AEM Infinity and with the standard inlet manifold I had a noise floor even at idle of about 0.060 which would rise with rpm and was fairly bumpy across the 4 cylinders. Since installing the ITBs the knock raw output at idle is about 0.0350 and rises to maybe 0.0415 but in general there is no variance across the 4 cylinders like there was before. I'm trying to figure out whether this change in knock output is due to resonance changes from changing the inlet manifold or whether the knock sensor has gone wrong or been damaged during the install of the ITBs.

Ignore me. Decided to bite the bullet and take the trumpets and airbox off so I could see the knock sensor and the top has completely snapped off. Looks like the stretched coolant pipe did it when fitting the itb manifold as the connection is slightly further away than stock best get a new one on order.

Does the Infinity read out in volt or something other made up? Your numbers seems rather low, but maybe a broken sensor does that
Good luck with the new sensor, I suggest to buy one directly from Japan if you want to save some money.

Yeah it reads the raw voltage output from the sensor. The broken off top had the wires showing and were touching the block so I think the infinity was picking up noise from the electrical system which is what I was seeing otherwise I would have expected not to see any output at all. I've already ordered from a local supplier as I wanted it quickly.

I think you should see lots of output on a working sensor, but maybe there are settings on your Infinity that filters most of it out.
Here is a random snapshot from a kpro log I did on my ITB car.

Yeah there are filters on the infinity but I still get lots of low level activity normally and looking at your graph with ITBs what I was seeing in the logs after install is definitely due to the snapped connector.
