Quick update to thread - retune booked for 20th.

The exhaust valves were very tight and all four cylinders needed to be adjusted back to spec. Intake side were all fine.

Compression was 245 psi all four cylinders the same gauge that read the 225/225/225/220 in the same day.

Looking forward to the results in a few weeks.

Update from re-tune - still low on power. Compression and timing is correct now - 250 psi all 4 cylinders on another set of gauges.

The car made 140kw (187hp) in 5th gear and 136kw (182hp) in 6th. Tune was only adjusted about 1-2% across the board.

Where should I be looking next?

Verify ignition timing with a timing light if you haven’t already. Same thing happened to me. Was expecting higher power from the engine only to be disappointed. My ignition timing was off by 15-16 degrees retarded. Weird thing was it had been calibrated before. It somehow defaulted back to the 5 degrees btdc. Still waiting to tune mine.

Just to give you an idea of my power output currently. AP1 '00 with 207000kms and OEM everything except an Invidia 60mm TP at altitude on a hot day (32 degrees C at least) - 130.5 wkw (175 whp) - open airbox. Shell 95 V power in tank with a little of Liqui Moly's octane booster. That only increased output by about 1.5 kw though. 4th gear pulls I believe. This was pre valve adjustment as well. Made me proud
