AP2 V2 manifold TB inlet bore limit
 

Hey guys, I don't really like asking simple question such as this but I could not, to save my life, find an answer online. What is the max bore size you can bore, on the OEM AP2 V2 intake manifold? Looks like you can go bigger than you could on the AP1 intake manifolds.

Also....I am wanting to find out if the bolt pattern on the TB is the same as say the RBC manifold. I want to install the V2 manifold with an adapter to run a larger TB preferably a Ktuned 72mm or maybe some 74mm. I cannot find any info to confirm this would work.

I have a v2 manifold that is bored and has the adapter to use the bigger tb as you want to run it. The v2 manifold has a larger plenum which will pick up more power. $150 shipped. Let me know

V2? You mean the factory DBW manifold?

Yup I mean the DBW one. I am hoping I could run the ktuned 72mm TB which already has the provision for the IACV.

Ok, well I haven't sized one up lately, but based on the stock bore size of the DBW TB opening in the manifold being 68mm and not having provision for the water port like the 00-05 do taking up space, I would be surprised if you couldn't bore out at least 72mm and likely a fair bit more.
