Berk 3" Exhaust Problem

That seems like something is overstressing the exhaust. Its supposed to just hang there suspended by rubber mounts and able to move around a bit. So something must be binding it up enough to cause a fracture like that.

Think about how much pressure you'd have to put on the end of the exhaust (where you have the most leverage) to cause a stress crack like that. That is a lot of force where there shouldn't be any. Something must not be mounted correctly.

Or bad engine mounts can screw things up quickly

i might suggest a engine torque damper. reduces the amount of shifting of the engine and thus the exhaust.

Just an update, I emailed Bryan from Berk technology and they sent me a brand new midpipe with HFC for half off retail. I already have new 60a motor mounts but haven't installed yet cause of weather and will look into a engine torque damper. Thanks!
