CEL w/HPS Intake
 

Hello to all, recently bought this for my car:

Honda 00-03 S2000 AP1 S2K F20 2.0L HPS Black High Temp Reinforced Silicone Post MAF Air Intake Hose Kit

The HPS intake hose kit. What attracted me to this product is the fact that I want to keep the car mostly stock & the fact that HPS claims no tuning needed & NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Guess what happens? Yup, CEL comes on! I have a code reader and just clear code P0411. This started the moment I installed the intake. Anyone else have the same issue? Advice???

Most likely you installed one of the hoses for the air pump system incorrectly.

flanders thank you so much!! This is what makes this forum great. I used the link you provided and found a disconnected vacuum hose. All buttoned up. Cleared the code and drove it, no code!!! Thanks again!!!
