Disappointing Dyno Figure (Australia)
I went to dyno day today and was disappointed with the result.
Mods: AFE Drop in filter, NGK Spark Plug #8, Spoon copy snorkel, ASM 07 Header and ASM 70mm SS
I know that we can't compare dyno at different shops and on different days but this is my other dyno figure back in October 08 as reference.
Mods: HKS Racing Suction Kit, ASM 07 Header, NGK Spark Plug #8, Berk TP.
For comparison my friend s2000 got 178.1 hp, dyno was done on the same day & shop.
His mods are J's Racing 60RS, J's Racing TP, J's Racing Header, Spoon TB, Gruppem Intake, NGK Iridium #8 and Ballistic Motorsport Pretuned EMU with aggressive settings.
My S2K is 2002 and his S2K is 2007 (DBW AP1, we don't get AP2 in Australia)
Any comment? especially with the last dyno figure. I am quite noob at reading A/F ratio but it looks pretty bad when It hit VTEC.

Id try another shop those #s just look way to low to me especially with your mods I was expecting 210-225ish
My first guess is that the dyno you used needs recalibrated
Good luck! I guess

One thing I have heard, is that most if not all dyno's in Australia and New Zealand read lower than those in the US. I don't know how much of that statement is fact, but I'm just going by what I've heard from some AUS owners.

Get rid of the "pre-tuned" ecu. There is no such thing. A programable ecu will pull out more power.
